Ways to rank your blog/website on search engines

For most of us don't understand what is ranking in website as a web owner, web ranking simply means to show to quality of your website post even though you and other websites are posting the same content, the use of this web ranking is to  make your blog lead ahead of other websites. 

Another thing about this ranking is make your website more visible and popular on the web, like for example check on jumia.com, you 3found out that they are many search suggestions when you type thweb addresse. So let dive on today topic. 

                     WEBSITE RANKING 

The first step to take is link your website to Google search console, what is web search console it is a virtual program manager that gives reports on your website, for example we have WordPress we all know is a software manager that keeps and allow you to edit your own content to your taste, now how do we make use of Google search console.? 

1. Register a new account with your website email address or your work address so that it will be easier for you to verify your blog, now go to  Google search console     and register your company with them pls follow the steps given to you in those images. 

Now when you have log in to the account you will be ask to register a domain property which is this down here....... 

After you have registered a domain property you will now locate the top nav menu 🔝 click it and then look for site map, what is site map; is a collection of your blog activities. 

               HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR SITE MAP

1. You will find a place in the image below where they wrote add a new site map. 

2. Add your sitemap in this form [https://www.bigkarmaupdates.blogspot.com/sitemap.xml]  and make sure you change that url to your blog url, like your website name.com/sitemap.xml.

3 wait for Google reply saying success. 

The next steps is to check if your blog is now showing on the internet, now click that nav menu again and look for url inspection and then insert your url in this form 'https//your domain name.com, once you ve done that this image down here will pop up for confirmation. 

And when the reply is ready it will show this here on the image saying your url is now in Google.
